AGB boats are for misty mornings on mountain lakes, quiet rivers, and coastal coves. Our 15-ft Adirondack Guideboat’s lightweight hull is built with a Kevlar®/GRP hybrid composite and trimmed with select cherry wood.
Description
Every Adirondack Guideboat includes three cherry and woven cane seats, one cherry woven cane backrest for the stern seat, and one cherry woven cane backrest with adjustable leather straps that can be moved between the bow and center seat, a cherry footrest, and Okume floor boards. You’ll find two sets of fancy oarlocks, 8-foot handmade cherry oars, and fore and aft composite skid plates. You choose the colors, inside and out. Fitness rowers usually add an optional sliding seat.
You’ll row with confidence. Our Guideboat is double-ended, with a traditional deep sweeping shearline, raked stems, and a low center of gravity. These boats are stable and comfortable. You’ll feel the smooth glide. You’ll love the ergonomics. And you won’t need a team of people to help you launch or retrieve your boat, because our hulls are a Kevlar®/GRP hybrid composite and are lightweight.
