The Vermont Fishing Dory is a beautifully shaped boat known for its outstanding versatile design. Our unique design marries a sharp waterline with a wide flat keel, symmetrically concaved bilges, and a hard chine. The result is a very stable boat with a huge 700-pound capacity Fisherman can actually stand up in the center. Our dory is a responsive, fast, sea-worthy boat that is very easy to row.

We build every Vermont Dory with a Kevlar®/GRP hybrid composite hull, in the colors of your choice, trimmed with select cherry wood. The Vermont Dory includes three cherry-framed seats with rugged black nylon webbing for comfort and durability, two cherry-framed canned backrests with adjustable leather straps that move between all positions, three sets of brass oarlocks, one cherry footrest, Okume floorboards, two Kevlar® skid plates, and our custom-made 7’6″ cherry oars.
